GRADE FIVE

Dear Parents/Guardians,

What a jam packed term it has been! The Grade 5’s have filled it with lots of great memories and learning. The following are some term reflections made by a few of the grade five students, as always they have chosen the ‘fun’ subjects as their favourites.

Ayshanur: This semester was very interesting. I was happy and had lots of fun.

Sophie: It has been the best term ever! I really liked doing drama in class. It has been so exciting.

Diya: I really loved doing drama, ART and music.

Qunoot: I’ve learnt so much. My favourite subject has been drama.

Mehak: This has been a great term. I’ve really enjoyed our drama performances.

For term 2, we hope to incorporate more exciting activities for their Literacy and Numeracy subjects to keep them engaged in their learning.

The grade 5’s performed in front of the whole school during assembly last week. Their presentation was about Bullying. The class explained what bullying is, how it affects people and ways/ who to seek for help. They did an amazing job.

Further, the following are important dates/reminders for the next term:

Could I please request that students study for NAPLAN (comprehension, language conventions, spelling, writing and numeracy) over the school holidays.

I wish you all a safe and relaxing holiday, all the best take care.

Kind Regards,

Miss Funda Avan
